Endless white salt desert under a full moon

About Rann of Kutch

A 14,000 square kilometre salt flat stretches endlessly white under full moon, undulating slightly like a frozen sea—the world's largest salt marsh. Day and night reverse here; the moon defines the landscape more than the sun. Salt crystals crunch underfoot; salt blocks mirror the sky. Villages of Khamir potters and Ajrakh block-printers persist at the Rann's edges.
