About Sundarbans

The Sundarbans mangrove delta sprawls across 10,000 square kilometres—a labyrinth of channels, islands, and waterways where Bengal tigers hunt from water and land. The world's largest tiger population (around 500) stalks these waters; saltwater crocodiles, river dolphins, and monitor lizards complete the ecosystem. Tours depart from Khulna or Mongla by boat.
