Tobago is Trinidad's quieter sibling, trading Carnival chaos for rainforest-backed beaches, the world's oldest protected rainforest, and some of the Caribbean's best diving around Speyside and Charlotteville. Pigeon Point's iconic thatched jetty and turquoise shallows draw the postcard crowd, but much of the island remains wonderfully undeveloped, with fishing villages and birdlife-rich forest trails dominating the north.
