Baños de Agua Santa sits in a steep valley below the Tungurahua volcano, its name derived from the thermal springs that have long drawn visitors to soak after a day of activity. The town has become Ecuador's adventure sports hub, with waterfall routes, ziplines, white-water rafting and the infamous 'Casa del Árbol' swing perched on a platform at the edge of a cliff with volcano views.
